We’re looking for a Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code and a DevOps mindset to help us design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructures — for our customers and our own products.
We actively work to create a more inclusive tech industry and to empower women and underrepresented groups. We therefore explicitly encourage applications from non-male candidates and people from diverse backgrounds.
Note: This is a permanent position – no contractors.
- You enjoy solving complex problems and can work independently and collaboratively
- You communicate clearly and respectfully with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You’re fluent in English (spoken and written)
- You like working in a small, diverse, low-ego team
- You’re based in the EU/EEA/U.K. or have a valid work permit
- You live within ±3 hours of the CET timezone
- You value kindness, psychological safety, and mutual respect
- You want a sustainable job that leaves room for life outside of work
You don’t need to tick every single box. If this role sounds interesting and you bring strong experience in some of these areas, we’d still love to hear from you.
At Hivemind, you’ll work in small, cross-functional teams with flat hierarchies and minimal bureaucracy. We care about clean code, thoughtful architecture, and good onboarding — so you can take ownership early and work sustainably.
We are a mostly Europe-based remote team with admin support in Berlin. We trust people to manage their own time and energy. Remote-first work is the default, and working while travelling is possible.
We strongly believe that work should support life — not dominate it. Family, health, and personal circumstances always come first, and we actively try to support people through different phases of life.
We embrace different identities, genders, and life choices, and we are explicitly opposed to racism, sexism, homophobia, and discrimination of any kind. Everyone should feel safe and welcome here.
You’ll work with a wide range of modern technologies through diverse client projects. There is no fixed tech stack: you’re encouraged to propose tools and approaches that make sense. We value learning, experimentation, and thoughtful change over dogma.
- 100% remote work.
- Choice of equipment (Mac or Linux).
- Cross-functional teams.
- Paid conferences and workshops.
- Paid co-working space (if needed).
- Regular in-person team meetups.
- Flexible working hours (30–38 hours/week).
- 30 days of paid vacation **plus** the days between Christmas and New Year’s off.
- No overtime.
- A job that complements your life, not controls it.
OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS
We have a two-stage hiring process:
- Introductory Interview → A conversation with our two directors to get to know each other.
If we both want to proceed, you’ll receive a technical challenge to complete at your own pace (within ~2 weeks).
- Technical Interview → A discussion with the team where we review your solution together, assess how we collaborate, and see how you handle feedback.
